Elba completed her nursing education in Colombia and brings more than 35 years of experience in community health, maternal and child health, and neonatal care. Her work has included Kangaroo Mother Care programs and educating mothers and caregivers as they care for newborns and young children.
Her years of supporting families have reinforced her belief that kindness, patience, and clear guidance can make a lasting difference. Elba values connection across generations and believes communities grow stronger when people feel seen, supported, and confident using their own voices.
